Non Immigrant Visa

Tourist Visa
This is a temporary clearance to stay in a country for the amount of time given by the Australian Embassy Abroad. You must leave on or before the given date on your visa or it will jeopardize your future travel privileges to other or the same country that you have entered before. Tourist Visas allow you to stay for a period of 90 days depending on the officer and how long of a stay you asked for on the application. A visitor visa will take three to five days to process and approximately 10 working days during peak periods, provided applicants satisfy all the legal requirements for the grant of a visa.

Immigrant Visa / Partner Ship Visa
This visa allows you to migrate to Australia. The visa will allow you to go to Australia to stay with your family / spouse. It also allows you to work and travel freely with a Permanent Resident card and even allows you to apply for Citizenship after a certain amount of years.

There are 3 categories of Partner Visas

Prospective Marriage (fiance' (e))
This Visa is for applicants who are engaged to be married to their eligible sponsors after the visa is granted and within 9 months. After a marriage has taken place in Australia and has been registered. You can then file for your Permanent Resident in Australia and are able to obtain the needed documents to Drive & Work.

Spouse visa (including de facto)
This Visa is for applicants who either are legally married to or in a de facto relationship with their partners.

Interdependency visa (including same-sex partners)
This Visa is for applicants and sponsors who are in a same-sex relationship or a couple who are mutually dependent on each other.
