given from the US Embassy Abroad. The Immigration will
consider your length of stay when you enter the US.

or it will jeopardize your future travel privileges
to other or the same country that you have entered before.

depending on the officer and how long of a stay you
asked for on the application. Depending on certain US
Embassies abroad there might be a waiting for period
for an Embassy Interview date. Please contact your local
US Embassy to check on the waiting status or interview

Immigrant Visa
This visa allows you to migrate to the US. The visa
will allow you to go to the US to stay with your family
/ spouse. It also allows you to work and travel freely
with a Permanent Resident card and even allows you to
apply for Citizenship after a certain amount of years.
Fiance' Visa / K-1, K-2 Visa
If you are single and have met your partner in person
and have no been in a relationship for more then a 2
year period, you will be qualified to apply for this
type of visa. This is a single entry visa that allows
your fiance' to marry you within the 90 days given on
the visa. This visa is called a Non-Immigrant “Intent”
to Immigrant Visa. After you have registered your marriage
you may then apply for a Change of Status at your local
Homeland Security Center or Immigration Center. If this
procedure is performed then your spouse will be able
to obtain a Permanent Resident Card, Social Security
#, Work Permit, and Drivers License/ID Card.
Marriage Visa / K-3, CR-1 Visa
To apply for this visa you will have to be married to
your spouse. This visa will allow your spouse to enter
the US and gain a Permanent Resident Card, Social Security
#, Work Permit, and Drivers License almost immediately
after her arrival if entering on the CR-1 Visa. If entering
on a K-3 Visa, your spouse can either wait for the CR-1
Visa to approve and return to there country of resident
for there interview with the US Embassy. The second
option is if you enter on a K-3 visa you can simply
apply for a change of status and wait for her permanent
status in the US. This K-3 visa is to benefit a US spouse
to travel freely from country to country verses a Fiance'
K-1 visa which has restrictions on traveling and also
allows your wife to have multiple entries to the US
while waiting for her Change of Status.
